Chevy Duramax Performance Parts | ECD Diesel
Duramax Performance Parts
We’ve got the best Duramax performance parts available. We’ve been working with GM diesels since they introduced the 5.7 L Oldsmobile in the 1970s. Since then, we’ve helped owners rebuild thousands of DB2 injection pumps and helped countless 6.5L DS4 owners get their trucks back on the streets with improved performance and power. The LB7 Duramax was first introduced in 2001 and remained in production until 2004.
2011-2014 6.6L Duramax LML LGH
We have all high performance and factory replacement parts for the 2011-2014 Chevy GMC 6.6L Duramax LGH and LML.
This diesel engine has the capability to put out 397 hp and over 765 lbf/ft of torque right off of the showroom floor. The LML Duramax was released in 2011 for GM and Chevrolet HD trucks. This engine’s latest version uses advanced emissions equipment to reduce emissions levels by 63% over LLM powered trucks, allowing the LML Duramax to meet current and future federally mandated emissions requirements.
2007-2010 Chevy GMC Duramax 6.6L LMM
In 2007, GM came out with the 6.6L Duramax LMM engine. The engine included a few noticeable updates, including updating the emissions system and a small increase in horsepower/torque output. The LMM also included a diesel particulate filter designed to reduce particulate emissions drastically, in some cases by 90% over previous Duramax engines.
2006 Duramax LBZ
In 2006, Duramax produced the LBZ, which continued its production into 2007. The LMM and LBZ are very similar, mechanically, with the largest difference between the two being LBZ’s computer-based system of controls. The LBZ also performed much more aggressively than the LLY, with a substantial increase in horsepower and torque.
2004 Duramax LLY
A replacement to the popular Duramax LB7, the Duramax LBZ was produced in 2004. In an effort to meet stricter emissions requirements, the LLY included GM’s first emission controls on a diesel engine. It also adopted a variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system to help reduce potential emissions.
2001 Duramax LB7
First introduced in 2001 and produced up until 2004, the Duramax LB7 included a 32 valve, V8 design with a high pressure common rail direct injection system. The LB7 is highly sought after among Duramax’s engines due to its lack of emissions technology, outstanding fuel economy, and classic design.
